Hi, I am Karina Giada

I am a freelance watercolor artist and illustrator. Entirely self-taught, I focus primarily on watercolor portraits and character art for your favorite books, published and those yet to be revealed! I have worked with a number of self-published authors, designer brands, and I am currently a freelancer for Penguin Random House working on an Outlander Oracle Deck. 

With me, you will learn to create and paint characters with unique characteristics by blending watercolor and gouache techniques. I believe every character is distinct and we must celebrate the uniqueness of human features. I hope, through this course, we can breathe life into character development in a world that has become so saturated with AI.
